Series
In order to meet the ever-increasing demand in dimming control, Gentec is introducing
the K8D Series. This K8 Series upgrade offers the capability to perform standard
On/Off switching and dimming control in commercial buildings equipped with dimmable
HID, fluorescent or incandescent lights. The K8D has been developed around two
major innovations: the new Kameleon Software version 1.5 and
the new KC-84X Dimming Controllers. The K8D extends the control
capacity of the K Series and brings energy savings to a new high. |

Software Release – Kameleon Software
Version 1.5
The new Kameleon Software V1.5 includes dimming control functionalities with
multi-programming options. In addition to all of the existing functions from
the previous version (Kameleon
Software Spec. Sheet), the V1.5 includes the following advanced specifications:

Furthermore,
through the Kameleon Software graphical interface,
building owners will be able to monitor

zone.

Controllers Release – The KC-84X Series
The KC-84X is a new line of dimming controllers for the K8D Series. Each controller
is designed to meet one of the three specific dimming control configurations
available on the market i.e. analog (0-10V) or digital DMX 512/input or digital
DMX 512/output. |
