For end-users or facilities managers, it is of paramount importance that the lighting system can readily adapt to the ever-changing business requirements of the building. Gentec's Kameleon systems provide flexibility in three important ways:

1. The K8 Series interoperate with other LonWorks control systems.
2. The functions of individual sensors and switches can be altered at any time without relocating or changing devices, or rewiring.
3. Configuration, programming and modification can easily be done through an external time clock (K4 Series) or through a Windows-based software (K8 Series). Remote access (Internet, modem or telephone) is also available with the K8 Series.
